The Volvo is home now.
You may recall that we had an Art Car Party where friends and family decorated our dear and departing Volvo. The car was spotted at BookPeople by a guy who's opening an Art Car museum in San Marcos, about 30 minutes south of Austin. He offered to pay us "blue book" value for the car and we agreed. We were happy that the car would live forever for others to appreciate. Now, none of the contributing artists has asked for their cut of the proceeds, so let's keep this a secret, ok? Actually, it sounds like we all can get free tickets to the museum whenever we want.
