We attended Luna's first parent-teacher conference today and the report was fabulous! She's reading 101 words per minute, where the goal is to be at 60 by the end of first grade. So she's been moved into a 2nd grade group for reading. Similar story for math: new group, new challenges. Overall: "confident, active, interested learner." Great work, Luna!!
It's not that we want her to do school well; we want her to do well in school. And when she gets into trouble, we see the good in that, too.
That's our girl!
