Luna reflects.

We're in training to foster to adopt a child. (Yay!) They gave us a 50-page questionnaire about our family relationships, our childhood (don't worry, I didn't tell 'em everything.), etc. There are questions in the packet that a social worker will be asking Luna, so we're trying to increase her comfort level (not coaching, I swear) and the effectiveness of that interview by asking her the questions ourselves. Here's a few:

1. Describe your mother: She has boobies.

2. Describe your father: Tall and nice. He hypes me up.

3. Do you have any friends?
Luna: I have a LOT of friends.
Steven: Why do you think they're your friends?
Luna: 'Cuz friends love each other.
Steven: Why do you think they love you?
Luna: I'm awesome!

4. What does it mean that you're parents are going to foster a child?
Luna: I have to have more patience. (You know that, mama!) And we have to storage [sic] everything in the house.

5. What do you think about a child coming to live with you?
Luna: Fine. I care about it. I want you [mom and dad] to have a baby. I don't want to work on my patience. I want to have a sister.

6. How will this change your life?
Luna: I don't know. [Really, what do they expect?]

7. How would you describe your family?
Luna: Really tight hugs.

8. What is your worst memory? [Shana rephrased the question: Do you remember anything that happened to you that you wished hadn't happened?]
Luna: Cactus thorns in my footsie.

Bonus [We asked this one a couple of days ago]:
Shana: You know what's unfortunate about your life?
Luna: Nothing.
[We didn't realize that she knows how good she's got it!]

By the way, our kid preference is a girl, 0 - 3 years old. Luna wants a girl with pink hair and pink hands and pink feet.

Congratulations! The 50 page questionairre sounds way too familiar. So how long is the homestudy?
